Adventures in GPT Land #2: How Seeq GPT Is Improving Human Experience Through Stories and AI

CTO Andy Sitison shares how SEEQ Platform and SEEQ GPT combine AI and stories to reveal the human experience insights leaders need to shape the future.

In the next installment of his Adventures in GPT Land series, our CTO Andy Sitison reflects on Share More Stories’ journey with AI — and how it has shaped SEEQ Platform into what it is today.

At Share More Stories (SMS), our journey began with a simple but urgent idea: in a world racing toward automation and efficiency, the human experience needed to remain at the center. Our team came together from careers in brand management, new product development, insights, storytelling, and technology with a shared belief that stories hold the key to understanding what people truly need and value.

From the start, we built a platform that could listen deeply. By combining heartfelt stories with AI and machine learning, we uncovered patterns of emotion and experience that traditional surveys or metrics simply miss. This was painstaking work in the early days, when predictions weren’t super reliable and we had to manually validate every result. Hidden benefit, though: it embedded in us an early philosophy and approach that centered the human in every part of our process.

Over the years, as large language models (LLMs) evolved, our work matured into something more powerful, efficient, and accurate: the ability to classify emotions like joy, anxiety, or need for structure, and turn them into actionable insights for organizations striving to better connect with their employees, customers, and communities.

With generative AI, we entered a new chapter. Our approach — what we call SEEQ GPT — uses customized models designed for specific, human-centered tasks. It’s not about replacing people, but about giving leaders sharper tools to explore, analyze, and act on human experiences with more speed, depth, and empathy. (And again, accuracy!)

In this series, Andy shares lessons learned, practical tips, and lived experiences to help others navigate the evolving world of AI while keeping people at the heart of it.
